The pace is slower than the city, the people are friendly, and there are many different groups and clubs to get involved with. Each town has a quaint shopping district with many shops owned by locals. There are many shops owned by or featuring local artists. Water Adventures are abundant in Muskoka. The area is dotted with countless lakes that are great for swimming, fishing, canoeing, water skiing, paddleboarding, and so much more.
