Top 5 Team Building Programs to be Delivered

When hosting a team meeting or conference in the Calgary, Banff, Canmore or Jasper area many groups are looking for active and engaging team building events as well as learning and development. Some of our most popular team building programs include.

At 8850m Everest is the tallest mountain on earth and one of the most sought after mountaineering goals. Your team will have a chance to embark on a simulated ascent of this extraordinary mountain as participants make critical decisions that will lead them to the top. This is an indoor, table-based program with a high level of team interaction, communication and decision making. Duration 90 minutes to 2-hours.

In this invigorating team building experience, we will coach your team towards mastering the art of juggling. The process involved in overcoming this challenge can be applied to tackling any challenge in the workplace. In addition to providing a fun and lively energy-booster to your meeting, the Juggling Act can also produce numerous learning moments for your team. This indoor based program requires a large open space. Program duration 60-90 minutes.

Organizations must have effective leadership at all levels in order to be successful. Developing effective leaders is a deliberate and ongoing process. This multi-stage program will inspire participants to set a compelling personal leadership vision, help them to assess their current reality and give them the tools they need for success.

We integrate Emotional Intelligence (EQi 2.0) and a suite of other personal development assessments to provide a framework for examining leadership styles and attributes, and to inform the action-planning process.

The program looks at relevant leadership theories and develops important skills for engaging followers, building teams, communicating, giving feedback, coaching, managing change and connecting people to the organization’s purpose. Leaders learn to create a team environment where trust, innovation and commitment flourish. Above all, they create their personal vision for “greatness” and a plan to get there.

MORE OPTIONS: team building, training workshops, motivational keynotes

Custom designed for your group, Summit will effectively blend a motivational keynote and a training workshop.

This half- or full-day workshop integrates Scott Kress’ extremely popular “Learning In Thin Air” or “Achieve the Outrageous” keynote with a mix of activities, models, tools and strategies that will meet your learning and development goals.

The riveting true stories makes this workshop highly engaging, and the content makes it valuable to your team and your organization.

Whether as a leader or a team member, much of a person’s success is based on their ability to be in touch with, monitor and manage their emotional interactions. This is referred to as Emotional Intelligence. The measure of Emotional Intelligence (EI) is a powerful predictor of success, and it can be improved through training.

This course is based on the EI 2.0 assessment completed online by each participant prior to the course. During the workshop, we build an understanding of key concepts, hand out personalized reports and provide tools to enhance emotional functioning. Participants create action plans to improve functioning in the two areas that they find to be most relevant to their workplace performance.

Scott Kress is a masterful storyteller, a leadership trainer and team building expert, a former Executive MBA Professor and a life-long adventurer. What sets Scott apart is his ability to climb mountains. He is one of the very few people in the world who has summited Mt Everest.

In fact, he has climbed the highest peak on each of the 7 continents plus skied to the South and North Pole. A feat that fewer than 50 people in history have accomplished.

Scott’s keynotes will contain not only gripping stories from his adventures, but also the personal, team, and leadership strategies he used that have been proven to create enormous success not only for scaling mountains, but also for individuals, teams, and organizations.
