THE IDEA

This ropes course experience will literally take your team to new heights. This exciting session will utilize the power of experiential learning to enhance communication skills, building trust among team members, and encourage personal growth. Take your team’s performance to the next level with this unforgettable team building experience.

We have designed this program for participants of almost all ability levels. The Blue Mountain Woodlot ropes course offers easy and moderate routes that are only a few feet off the ground. There are also more challenging and higher routes for those that are more adventurous.

The Woodlot ropes course was specifically designed to be accessible for most participants. You are continuously connected to the safety system as you navigate through various challenges. This session is exciting, fun, engaging, and memorable and will get your team into their learning zone!

 

THE DETAILS

  • We'll start the program off with a few warm up exercises and discuss the importance of trust and communication on a high performing team
  • Your team will be outfitted with harnesses, helmets, and personal safety tethers. We will teach you how to master the system in a brief orientation session and answer any questions before your climb
  • Working in sub-groups, your team will navigate the course, taking on various challenges requiring courage, trust, and problem solving
  • Collaboration and support will be critical to success
  • Certified ropes course staff will be available at any point if an individual or group needs assistance

We had our National Sales Meeting and booked a team event with Summit Team Building. We had a group of around 50 that did the Blue Mountain Higher Ground event, which included the Woodlot ropes course and ground level activities. It was amazing. You could challenge yourself on the course with your team supporting you. We will definitely be doing future team building events with Summit Team Building.
